Not only are our instructors experienced ESL teachers they also have at least a master's degree and have several years of experience training other teachers! 2.)  What's the difference between our self-paced and instructor led courses?

Self-Paced:
Our competitive pricing reflects the independent learning style giving you both freedom and savings. There is a final exam at the end of each course.

Instructor-Led:
These courses are led by trained instructors who has at least a master's degree. Our instructor-led course prices reflect a more in class learning approach in which the instructor is available for questions and provides feedback. However, there are no final exams.

3.)  What are the requirements to register for a course?
To register you must be at least 18 years old, be proficient in English, and have a desire to learn.

4.)  Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do. Signing up for courses using our payment plans can be completed in 2 easy steps:

5.)  How many courses do you provide?
We currently offer 12 different courses to our prospective students. Each can either be taken in a form of independent study (self-paced) or led by an instructor (instructor-led) depending on the studen's preferences.

6.)  How long does each course take to complete?
No matter which course you choose self paced or instructor led you will have 6 months to complete the course. However, all of our courses can be completed in 4 weeks or less.

7.)  Where can I use my ESL Certified TESOL /TEFL certificate?
ESL Certified's TESOL /TEFL certification courses are internationally recognized and was designed to thoroughly prepare aspiring teachers and teacher novices for ESL teaching careers abroad. At its core, the 100-hour TESOL/TEFL certification course prepares teachers in the theory and practice of teaching English. Those that are wanting to teach in their home country should first contact their local or federal government to inquiry as to the necessary credentials for an ESL teacher.

8.)  What services do you offer to students and graduates?
As an added bonus for taking a course with us, we offer job placement assistance for all course graduates, no matter which course you take. In addition, 24-hour customer service and technical support, and free resume writing assistance.

9.)  Where can I work?
An advantage of receiving your TESOL or TEFL certification is that you can work nearly all over the world. There are many international organizations where you can apply for jobs. Many foreign countries are looking for qualified teachers. This certification will give you a great competitive edge over other applicants.

10.)  How am I graded?
Your coursework is constantly graded with continuous assessments that you will receive throughout the course that you will be able to identify your strong and weak areas. With our instructor led courses, individual comments will also help you to identify such areas that will help you to progress throughout the duration of the course.

12.)  What if I would like to cancel or withdraw from a course?
If you would like to take a different course, please contact us at: customerservice@eslcertified.com or contact customer service here and we will gladly switch your course. If you would like to cancel your course please note that you have 15 days from the date printed on your receipt to do so. We are unable to offer any refunds for course cancellations after 15 days(and/or for self paced courses - after the final exam has been accessed.



We are confident that our courses will work for you.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with our courses we will, at our discretion, refund the purchase price within 15 days of purchase, unless you have accessed the final exam in a self-paced course.  However, we are unable to offer any refunds for course cancellations after 15 days.

13.)  What if I am not able to complete the course in time?
If you need additional time to complete your course, please email us at: customerservice@eslcertified.com or contact customer service here to request an extension. When emailing, please include your full name, username, course name, and the additional time you will need to complete your course. Please note there may be additional fees for this service.

14.)  What forms of payment does ESL Certified accept?
ESL Certified accepts personal checks, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and America Express. To make an offline order you may call us with your credit card number or mail a check or money order please note with the latter option will require that funds to be cleared before you can be enroll in the course. 16.)  Is there a demo course I can see before I sign up?
Yes, to see the free TESOL demo course you will need to register as a member. Click here to register, then after you have registered please log in and click 'classroom' on the 'where do you want to go' page. Once you are logged, you should click on 'course catalog' and there you will see the course called 'Free Online TESOL Course Demo' under 'Certification Courses: Self-Paced' click the yellow basket to enroll.

Or click here while logged on. In doing so you will be immediately enrolled into the course. Please note that the course is comprised of only one of the ten units that you would normally see in the real course. Once you have enrolled in the course you will be given 24 hours to access it.
